About GRP

GRP has a unique property that makes it an attractive alternative to traditional methods. It is versatile with a high strength to weight ratio. It's appearance can be matt, semi-gloss or high gloss with a smooth or textured finish in a whole host of colours. Stone, lead and wood grain finishes makes it the ideal choice, not only for modern housing but also traditional buildings where GRP can simulate original mouldings and restore a building in a cost effective manner. Our GRP's longevity and durability can still be seen in Sheffield today from 1968 with no discernable differences.

With over 50 years proven experience in the manufacture of Glass Fibre, Hodkin & Jones offer clients the reassurance of a time-served company. We offer a competitive service for both our standard and our bespoke architectural ranges. We work closely with architects and contractors from design through to manufacture and onto installation, using our in-house team to guarantee total satisfaction for the client.

Having our own on-site joinery division for pattern making, keeps our prices competitive and most importantly ensures we can work within the required time scale.

Our standard range of mouldings include door canopies & surrounds, dormers, bay windows, copings, portico & columns, fascia & cornice, dovecotes, tanks and imitation brick/stone chimneys.

Our Bespoke Architectural Division offers a service that is virtually endless. Previous projects we have undertaken include plaques and signs for traditional buildings, fascia for train stations, hospitals and universities, elaborate domes for places of worship, components for speed and leisure boats, and marine applications.
